Pure Luxe Bridal: "Just a little education about bridal gowns.
Bridal gowns, in a Bridal Boutiques, are not used gowns. They are all new gowns. The store purchases gowns to have in their store. A sample gown is a gown that the manufacture gives the store and it will say SAMPLE right on the gown. When you go to the department store, more people have tried on one shirt, then a bride does one gown. It is a huge convenience if that gown is ready for a bride that day. Otherwise, we will order one for her if her date allows us to. Some of the gowns we get are so new, that it could take months before one person even tries it on. If merchandise has been tried on over and over and becomes damage, it will then go to a clearance rack and a new gown will be purchased for the one that has been damaged. If a gown is doing really well in that store, we will not sell that gown off the rack. Reason being, is because it will take 6 months to get a new one. So, if a gown looks a little worn, it is because that store is doing well with orders on that gown. All bridal stores should take good care of their gowns. It says a lot about that store and how they will take care of your gown when it comes in."
